When: On 25/04/2018 from 7:30 pm to 10:30 pm

Where: The Tunbridge Wells Hotel (click on link for map)

What we’ll be doing this month…

Networking time – A friendly and inspiring evening with plenty of time for you to meet and chat with other local business mums. The attendee list will be circulated in advance of the meeting so that you can familiarise yourself with who is coming to help you on the evening.

About our talk this month On May 25th new GDPR rules on the collection and use of customer and prospect data will come into effect and will affect virtually all businesses.  So this month we have Darrel Lineham of The GDPR People and The Marketing Link coming to tell us how the new rules will impact upon us and what we need to do to comply with them. He will be covering:

• The Principles & Rights of individuals
• What data you can and can’t use that you currently have (mailchimp, business cards etc)
• How you need to collect consent and what information you can collect going forward

Do you feel nervous about coming? If so, please don’t worry, I promise you won’t be the only one! And to make it easier for you, you’re welcome to arrive 15 minutes earlier than everyone else at 7.30 to settle in while it’s still quiet.

About our speaker Darrel has been working in the Direct Marketing Industry for over 23 years specifically working with Data and working with a wide range of clients from very small start-up businesses to large household names such as Homebase, Debenhams, Virgin Wines and Acas to name a few. He set up www.Themarketinglink.co.uk in 2016 to privide marketing and social media support and guidance to a range of clients in the local area.

More recently Darrel launched www.theGDPRpeople.co.uk offering affordable 1-day workshops to help get you and your business ready for the changes in May 2018.
